Hi I’m Hannah
Discovering yoga has been deeply life-changing for me in the most beautiful ways possible! Yoga has touched and transformed every aspect of my life and has now become a way of life; a path of learning to live from my heart.
As a working mum to two beautiful children, I understand how busy life can be and how challenging it can be to find space for oneself. Through my yoga practice and the journey of motherhood I have come to realise that space to relax, restore and nurture ourselves is not a luxury but essential for our wellbeing. A regular yoga practice is such a wonderful gift to ourselves!
Supporting others on their journey of healing is my true vocation and life’s purpose. As well as being a yoga teacher, I am also a qualified occupational therapist and have worked as a mental health practitioner in the NHS for nearly 20 years, specialising in working with people who experience complex emotional and physical health difficulties, often as a result of complex trauma.
This work has given me a deep understanding of the mind-body connection and highlighted the importance of integrated mind-body approaches to healing. It has also inspired me to look deeper into what it means to heal on physical, mental and emotional levels in order to return to our natural state of wellbeing. Trauma, stress and emotional pain are held within the body, mind and heart, often unconsciously, and so true healing must look to reintegrate these aspects of our being so that we may experience our fundamental wholeness and be able to live wholehearted lives.
