I’m new to yoga. Where should I start?
ALL OF THE TRIBE HUBB CLASSES ARE OPEN TO ALL LEVELS, IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A MORE ENERGETIC PRACTICE THEN DYNAMIC YOGA IS FOR YOU, HOWEVER IF YOU WANT SOMETHING SLOWER AND MORE RESTORATIVE, THEN TRY OUR YIN CLASSES
What classes do you offer?
THIS IS A Vinyasa FLOW class, a style of yoga characterized by stringing postures together so that you move from one to another, seamlessly, using breath. Commonly referred to as “DYMANIC” yoga. Vinyasa classes offer a variety of postures and no two classes are ever alike.
Yin yoga class usually consists of a series of long-held, passive floor poses that mainly work the lower part of the body – the hips, pelvis, inner thighs, lower spine. Targets connective tissues including fascia, bones, and joints.
Some of the benefits of this restorative practice are:
- Reduces stress.
- Increases circulation.
- Balances internal organs and improves flow of prana.
- Balances our yang or fast-paced physical yoga
- Relieves tension.
- Improves flexibility.
- Encourages mindfulness and meditation.
THIS FUN CLASS HAS SO MANY BENEFITS FOR YOUR PRECIOUS LITTLE HUMAN, OPEN TO CHILDREN FROM 6-12 YEARS
- Improves posture, flexibility, strength, balance, coordination and motor skills.
- Helps children recognise and honour all emotions, learning to trust their instincts.
- Teaches breathing techniques that increase energy and decrease anxiety providing effective coping strategies for stress.
What should I bring?
WATER, COMFORTABLE CLOTHES AND YOU CAN EITHER BRING YOUR OWN MAT OR WE PROVIDE MATS IN OUR STUDIO, WHICH ARE SANITIZED BETWEEN CLASSES
What should I wear?
WEAR COMFORTABLE CLOTHES, IDEALLY LAYERS SO THAT YOU CAN STAY WARM AT THE END OF THE CLASS.
JUST MAKE SURE YOU CAN MOVE EASILY
Can I eat before class?
Though exercise is best done on an empty stomach, you should try to eat something light an hour or two before doing a yoga class. This will keep your energy levels up and your blood sugar levels on an even keel.
Do you offer private classes?
WE HAVE MANY TEACHERS PRACTICING FROM THE HUB, WE CAN ARRANGE PRIVATE CLASSES ON SITE FOR YOU.
Do you have a place where I can change clothing?
WE HAVE A CHANGING ROOM WITH CUBICLES AND STORAGE FOR YOUR BELONGINGS WHICH WILL BE LOCKED BEFORE CLASS BEGINS
What if I running late?
WE ASK EVERYONE TO ARRIVE 10-15 MINUTES BEFORE CLASS TO SIGN IN AT RECEPTION AND GET SETTLE ON YOUR MAT BEFORE CLASS, DOORS ILL BE CLOSED 5 MINUTES BEFORE CLASS BEGINS.
What about parking?
WE HAVE PRIVATE PARKING AT THE HUB AND FREE PARKING IS AVAILABLE ON THE STREET
How much yoga experience do I need?
NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY, JUST COME WITH AN OPEN HEART AND WE LOOK FORWARD TO WELCOMING YOU TO THE HUB.
How many students are in a course?
WE ARE ABLE TO OFFER COVID19 SAFE SPACE, SO CLASSES WILL BE LIMITED TO ENSURE OF A SAFE DISTANCE BETWEEN MATS.
